This is the website for FFS Golfers, with our Home Course, being Benton Hall Golf & Country Club in Essex. Participation is by invite only and our season starts 1st November each year through to 31st October the next year.

We have approximately 40 MEMBERS with 8-16 of us usually playing (hacking) at Benton Hall Golf Club every Tuesday. We play at other Club Company Golf Courses throughout the year with the occasional overnight stay, such as The Essex, Nizels, Chartham Park, The Warwickshire, Chesfield Downs, Greetham Valley, Whitney Lakes, Mapledurham & The Nottingham.

2025 SCHEDULE

FFS golfers play WEEKLY EVENTS throughout the year and have 4 MAJOR EVENTS. Below is this year's away-days outside of the weekly events at Benton Hall;

SUN 26th-MON 27th JAN: The Winter Wedge @ Thorpeness Golf Club

MAY-SEPT: Matchplay Knockout Cup

TBC TUES 27th MAY: The Spring Trophy @ Chesfield Downs

JULY/AUG: The Rusty Cup @ The Warwickshire

Our season finishes at the end of October with the finale "Race to Essex" event to decide the overall season winner.

The annual tour to Spain, playing 5 courses around Malaga is a great end to the season.

Then during the winter wetter months we play on drier courses such as Burnham-on-Crouch, Rushmere, etc.
