We have organised our Winter Wedge 'Major' on Sunday 22nd & Monday 23rd January 2017 at Thorpeness Golf Club.

I have booked the only t-times available for each day so we get round before dark. They are:

On Monday we tee off for 18 holes at 11.00, 11.08 & 11.16am. No t-times were available to do 9 holes on Monday as well I'm afraid.

COMPETITION & WINNINGS...
Each day we will have 4 Nearest the Pins: Holes 2, 7, 10 & 16
And 2 Nearest the Pin in 2's: Holes 11 & 17

Winner of Skins (based on stableford) on Holes 1-18 = 20p from each player
Front 9 lowest medal score = £1 from each player
Back 9 lowest medal score = £1 from each player
Overall lowest medal score = £1 from each player
Nearest the Pin = 50p from each player
Nearest in 2 = 50p from each player
Birdies/Eagles = 50p from each player

Points will be awarded from 12 to 1 (12pts for 1st place & 1pt to the last place) for your placing on each day. Sunday's & Monday's placing points will be added up to give a total over the 2 days. In the event of any drawn total points, the count-back ruling will be used on the last round. Final placings will give winning prize money as follows;

1st - £30 and the Winter Wedge Trophy
2nd - £25
3rd - £20
4th - £15
5th - £10
6th - £9
7th - £8
8th - £7
9th - £6
10th - £5
11th - £4
12th - £3 and the Bottom Place Trophy

WINTER RULES...
"Pick, wipe & place" is now in play through the Winter. This is within 6 inches of your marked ball and ONLY ON SHORT MOWN GRASS (ie. fairways, greens and the 1st cut of the green).
