DATE & VENUE 

We have organised our Winter Wedge 'Major' on Sunday 28th (Stableford) & Monday 29th January 2018 (Medal) at Thorpeness Golf Club.

COST...
We have obtained a rate of £95 per person* for 2 rounds of Golf, a 3-course Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. *This price is based on 2 people sharing a twin or double room. If you want a single room, you will need to pay a £45 supplement.

A deposit of £30pp was paid on Mon 27/11 to reserve the rooms and t-times.

We have 8 twin rooms reserved & 4x tee times at 9.32, 9.40, 9.48am & 9.56am on Sunday and 4x tee times at 9.40, 9.48am, 9.56am & 10.04am on Monday.

£65 balance per person is payable on arrival.

We can play an additional 9 holes of Texas Scramble on the Sunday as soon as we have completed our 18 holes (from about 2.15pm) if we feel daylight will allow. Sunset time is 4.39pm that day.

Dinner on Sunday is booked for 7pm.

COMPETITION & WINNINGS...
Each day we will have 4 Nearest the Pins: Holes 2, 7, 10 & 16
And 2 Nearest the Pin in 2's: Holes 11 & 17

Winner of Skins on Holes 1-18 = 20p from each player
Front 9 highest Stableford pts = £1 from each player
Back 9 highest Stableford pts = £1 from each player
Overall highest Stableford pts = £1 from each player
Nearest the Pin = 50p from each player
Nearest in 2 = 50p from each player
Birdies = 50p from each player
Eagles = £1 from each player

Points will be awarded from 16 to 1 (16pts for 1st place & 1pt to the last place) for your placing on each day. In the event of any drawn total points, the count-back ruling will be used.

Sunday's & Monday's placing points will be added up to give a total over the 2 days. In the event of any drawn total points, the count-back ruling will be used on the last round. Your final placings will win prize money as follows;

1st - £30 and the Winter Wedge Trophy
2nd - £25
3rd - £20
4th - £15
5th - £12.50
6th - £10
7th - £9
8th - £8
9th - £7
10th - £6

WINTER RULES...
"Pick, wipe & place" is now in play through the Winter. This is within 6 inches of your marked ball and ONLY ON SHORT MOWN GRASS (ie. fairways, greens and the 1st cut of the green).
